A Higher Form of Killing is the second studio album by the American thrash metal band Intruder. This album marked the band's transition from their original speed metal sound to a much more technical, complex, and aggressive thrash metal style . It was also their first album recorded as a quintet after the addition of rhythm guitarist Greg Messick. The album's unusual title is a direct reference to a well-known quote by German scientist Fritz Haber regarding the use of poison gas during wartime.
